A celebration of creativity, community, and self-expression is set to take place this Friday as local poet Mila, also known as Shamiya, hosts an open mic night at Camilla Café in Holyoke.
The event, designed to foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, will feature live performances from poets, visual artists, and musicians across the region. Organizers describe the evening as a space for “good vibes, creativity, and connection,” encouraging attendees to share their work in a judgment-free environment.
Mila, known for her passionate and expressive style, said the goal is to uplift local voices and provide a platform for both emerging and established artists.
